We explained the incredible relevance of the music in this series in Episode 1, Part "A", but that was only the beginning of what is in store.

Part ‘B’ continues the series of songs, referred to a “Ballads”, that consist mostly of recordings from Appalachia. Some of these songs have roots that go back as far as five hundred years, and maybe more than that. It is the deep history buried in these recordings that helped to develop a new type of folk music after the release of this series. It is impossible to deny their significance.
