This show completes the “Ballads” portion of this series (I plan to have four different themes, with “ballads” being the first, and each them will consist of three shows).

Unlike the first two shows, you may actually recognize a few of the songs featured here, although you likely would know it in a different form, performed by a more ‘contemporary’ artist. “Stackalee” (aka “Stagger Lee”), “Frankie” (aka “Frankie and Johnny”) and “Kassie Jones” (aka “Casey Jones”) may all be familiar in latter-day versions, but those recordings all had very deep roots, so here we go.
