What I mean by my confusing title is that this episode features more Gospel artists on Independent record labels, but many of them had little independence for themselves, as the label owners would often treat them badly, in any number of ways.

Not all the business owners were violent thieves, but they certainly were much more interested in gold than gospel. We’ll peek behind the scenes at Specialty, Peacock, King and Nashboro Records.
