Transistor Days: Autumn 1964
Episode 29
Episode date - July 10, 2020
I might be inclined to consider the second half of 1964 as the best era for pop music ever.
So many things were happening simultaneously, and there was such a positive energy in the air that each act, and every style seemed to feed off of each other. You couldn’t help but notice the exponential growth in musical styles on virtually every front. It was a time when just about anything seemed possible.
