    Although I seem to spend most of my time reminiscing about older music, it’s nice to take a look back at more recent times to see if things have changed all that much for better or worse.

    This show focuses on a myriad collection of album tracks, all released around October 2003, and therefore, now ten years old. Besides noting how quickly a decade can pass us by, these songs a now struggling for relevance in a marketplace that has been quick to dismiss most pop music from the past decade. So, let’s listen to these tracks and determine for ourselves if they stand a chance in our future, or if it is time to move on.

    Featured tracks include;

    Bowtie – Outkast (‘Speakerboxxx/The Love Below’)

    Roses – Outkast (‘Speakerboxxx/The Love Below’)

    I Don’t Know What It Is- Rufus Wainwright (‘Want One’)

    New Killer Star- David Bowie (‘Reality’)

    Mahgeeta – My Morning Jacket (‘It Still Moves’)

    Billy Liar – The Decemberists (‘Her Majesty’)

    The Chimbley Sweep – The Decemberists (‘Her Majesty’)

    Things – John Cale (‘HoboSapiens’)

    Magritte – John Cale (‘HoboSapiens’)

    Intro – Stronger Than Me- Amy Winehouse (‘Frank’)
