The Time Was 2003
Spring Music
Episode date - May 1, 2013
Despite evidence to the contrary (which is to say approximately 90% of our radio shows), I genuinely liked a lot of music from the past decade; I just tend to not talk about much.
The reason for that is because I’m usually so absorbed in some other project that I haven’t accrued enough knowledge about the newer stuff to talk about it with any intelligence. That may still be the case, but I’m not going to let it stop me from playing some of the stuff that I enjoyed listening to for the past ten years. All of these songs are ten years old now, dating from the Spring of 2003.
Personally, I find it hard to believe that ten years have passed since this stuff was released, and I guess that’s one of the reasons I feel compelled to play these tracks. There will be more next week, too.
Meanwhile, songs featured in this show include;
1) Seven Nation Army – The White Stripes (“Elephant”)
