He was drug free, stopped drinking, ran a facility that was helping others, and even his personal life finally fell into place. Things were finally coming together for Eric Clapton, and his success as a musician continued as a senior spokesman for ‘classic’ rock and roll and the blues. Free from the need to fulfill expectations, he more or less played what he wanted to play, and that’s pretty much exactly what this show consists of.
