After the release of “Electric Ladyland”, Jimi’s musical life started to change significantly.

He had grasped onto the newfound sense of freedom that came about almost accidentally (the loss of a manager/producer and the band that had helped to elevate him to stardom) and he seemed to be almost indifferent to the changes that enveloped him. 1969 started as a year for experimentation, and that is where we begin this episode.
