    Like we did a few weeks back when we dedicated an episode of our “Guitar” series to players who were made famous by Hank Williams, we will do something similar today, except now we are focusing on the guitar slingers who supported Howlin’ Wolf.

    Wolf was a learned guitar player himself, being taught fundamentals by none other than Charley Patton, the king of the Delta Blues players, but his mastery was in his performance and his harp playing. Usually, he left the guitar work to guitarists who push his music to new places.

    In one hour, we intend to discuss no less than six different blues guitar masters who helped define the legacy of Howlin’ Wolf.
