    Once again, Capitol created an album from leftovers (and it would not be the last time).

    Through the manipulations and machinations of the Beatles catalog, they somehow managed to stretch four British albums into six American albums, and that does not count the “A Hard Days Night” soundtrack on United Artists, any of the Vee-Jay releases, or their own execrable “Beatles Story” double album rip-off.

    It is a tribute to the Beatles catalog that it could not only stand up to such abuse, but thrive. The extra albums meant that extra singles were needed, so Capitol grabbed album tracks for singles (“Eight Days a Week”) and enjoyed a #1 hit in the process. It was the band’s 12th top ten hit since their American debut.

    Featured tracks include;

    1) Kansas City;

    2) Eight Days a Week;

    3) You Like Me Too Much;

    4) Bad Boy;

    5) I Don’t Want to Spoil the Party;

    6) Words of Love;

    7) What You’re Doing;

    8) Yes It Is;

    9) Dizzy Miss Lizzie;

    10) Tell Me What You See;

    11) Every Little Thing
