The Time Was August 1981
Albums Tracks
Episode date - August 17, 2011
Despite the impression that a seismic change in the music scene was brought on by the punk movement, little really changed.
As I made my list of a few favorite albums from August 1981, it’s surprising to see just how many of them come from artists who established themselves in the ‘60s. So, although punk did make some headway to allow for a new breed of artists, it did very little to stem the tide of the old school.
