I was working on the outline for this show for about an hour before I realized that 2002 was eleven years ago, not ten….ooops. For a short while, I really did forget what year it was. Then it occurred to me, so what?

We are always focusing on anniversaries in increments of 10 years, so why not do eleven years? Besides, if I were to stick to our usual formula, then these songs won’t be relevant to our show until 2022, and I don’t even want to think about 2022. I would much rather enjoy these songs now, and share them with our audience, rather than wait another nine years.

In addition, there’s so much interesting stuff from 2022 that I’m sure we are going to need at least one more week, so my one hour of work will supply enough material for next week as well! Hurray!!
