This show features one of the most instrumental (pun intended) soloists of all time, a guitarist who influenced virtually everything that came after him, and he did this with a career that lasted barely three years.

As this series (hopefully) has conveyed, Charlie Christian was not the first person to play an electric guitar, but he was certainly the most important and influential player of his time, with a style that still reverberates today (that pun was NOT intended).
