The interesting thing (or, admittedly, my best excuse for) the Nuggets series is the obscurity of so many of the tracks that qualify.

It is literally a potpourri of strangeness that the 1960’s somehow accepted as ‘pop’ music. The tracks are undoubtedly weird and dated, but they still provide a thrill for fans of energetic rock and roll with an attitude. Some of the songs might never have been famous, but they remain relevant because they make us laugh, or dance, or sing, or maybe just scratch our heads. It only gets weirder from here.
