O. V. Wright: Memphis Unlimited
Album #175 - June 1973
Episode date - August 11, 2022
It is albums like this that inclined me to write about ‘alternative’ albums.
I knew that there must have been limitless rare gems that I never heard, but I must admit that finding them was as rare as a hen’s tooth. “Memphis Unlimited” is remarkable from any angle, and I’d be proud if I happen to be the source that first exposed someone to the beautiful genius of O.V. Wright’s best album.
