    Naturally, history always focuses on the bits that resulted in fame and glory, but a lot of blood, sweat and tears usually accompany success.

    It is a worthwhile venture to ‘go deep’ with the Fame catalog, because there is so much there that is of high quality, even if it never saw national recognition. This show focuses on a few great tracks that were recorded at Muscle Shoals’ Fame Studios that have been forgotten by history, followed by a few more that have become timeless. We also shift to American Studios for a bit to see what was happening down the road at this time.

    Tracks include;

    1. A Shot of Rhythm and Blues – Clyde McPhatter
    2. Slippin’ Around with You – Art Freeman
    3. Without a Woman – Kip Anderson
    4. You Put Something on Me – Don Covay & Goodtimes
    5. Don’t Make Me Hate Loving You – Jeanie Green
    6. Sweet Soul Music – Arthur Conley
    7. Tell Daddy – Clarence Carter
    8. Tell Mama – Etta James
    9. I’d Rather Go Blind – Etta James
    10.  Cheater Man – Esther Phillips
    11. Cheater Man – Irma Thomas
