In the harsh light of reality, with John’s senseless, cruel murder, and George’s subsequent passing,it may be hard to legitimize this sentiment, but the music will outlive all the band members, and all of us as well.

The Beatles gave their minds, their energy, their spleens (George said that), and ultimately, their hearts. We could not ask for more.
