For this show, we continue our coverage of the Beatles by playing the remaining tracks from “Beatles For Sale”. This was the band’s fourth album in Great Britain, but their fifth (or sixth, or seventh, depending on whether you would count the documentary albums released by Capitol and Vee Jay).

As usual, the American release bore little resemblance to its British equivalent, containing fewer songs and including the single on the LP, which is something the Beatles usually did not do on the British releases. The American label also felt obliged to alter the production on the band’s single, resulting in a sound that was significantly different from the British counterpart.

This show concludes with the American version of the Beatles’ last single for 1964. Songs featured include;
