The Beatles: Post Epstein Era
Episode 43
Episode date - August 17, 2012
Up until this point, the Beatles career followed an arc of near-constant growth, with a series of projects that served their desire to continually grow and change. Now, though, faced with the sudden death of their manager, Brian Epstein, things began to go array almost immediately.
Lacking the discipline of Brian, the band pursued their own interests on a whim, and with nobody to think things through, the band’s career took a turn towards anarchy. Luckily, it had little or no effect on their music, which remained as glorious as ever. Only now, the songs were often associated with lackluster projects.
